About Velvet Flame Co.
Based out of Falcon, Colorado, Velvet Flame Company was founded and created by myself, Hayley Dennis. A Florida native, I was brought to Colorado through the United States Army where I was stationed at Fort Carson for 5 years. After the military, I worked a few jobs and then got my license in esthetics, worked at my first salon and then became a solo esthetician.
In between working, I've always had rather crafty hobbies, such as making jewelry, crocheting, painting, things like that. When I started to make candles, it genuinely started as just another hobby until lots of my friends and co-workers told me that I should start selling because of how much they loved my candles! And once I decided to open up my own candle shop, it went up from there. I absolutely love what I do and I can't wait to share my creations with you.

Our mission is to create each of our handmade candles with ethically sourced, sustainable ingredients and to minimize waste during and after production. We try to stay conscious about how much waste can come from making candles or anything else, so we try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.
